"Adults and children aged 12 years and over should take one capsule as necessary, up to a maximum of three times a day. Benadryl Plus Allergy Relief Capsules are not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age or by the elderly. Always read the labelling and package inserts before use."

Possible side effects include: Disturbed sleep, skin rashes, difficulty in passing urine (urinary retention), false perceptions of things that are not really there (hallucinations - rarely), drowsiness (extremely rarely).
