Imodium Plus Caplets provide fast, effective relief from diarrhoea and abdominal discomfort, including bloating, pressure and windcramps. Imodium Plus combinines two ingredients for multi-symptom relief in every dose. Imodium Plus makes motions more solid and less frequent. The anti-diarrhoeal effect of Imodium Plus is evident within one hour in patients with acute diarrhoea. Imodium Plus is also used to treat chronic diarrhoea,and diarrhoea associated with Irritable bowel syndrome, but only after initial diagnosis by a medical practitioner.

Each caplet contains the active ingredients Loperamide hydrochloride 2mg and Simethicone 125mg.
Adults should take two tablets initially, followed by one tablet after each loose bowel movement. Always read the labelling and package inserts before use.
Do not use if you have ever had a rash or other allergic reaction to Loperamide. Do not use if you have bloody or black stools. Seek medical advice before use if you have a fever, mucus in the stool, a history of liver disease or if you are taking antibiotics. Do not use if you are pregnant or breast feeding, except on your doctor's advice. Not recommended for children less than 12 years of age. If symptoms persist for more than 48 hours seek medical advice.
