Each Nytol One-A-NightCaplet contains the active ingredient: Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride BP 50mg. Caplets also contain: Anhydrous Lactose, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Maize Starch, Stearic Acid and Silicon Dioxide.

Had an allergic reaction to Diphenhydramine in the past. Asthma Narrow angle glaucoma (a form of raised pressure in the eye) Gastric or intestinal obstruction (due to peptic ulcer or other causes) Enlargement of the prostate or bladder neck obstruction. If you are taking antidepressants or have myasthenia gravis: please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Nytol. Nytol should be used with caution in patients with seizure disorders. The effectiveness of Nytol may reduce with continuous use. Nytol is intended to produce drowsiness or sleepiness soon after the dose has been taken, therefore you should not drive or operate machinery. Avoid alcoholic drink whilst using Nytol. Nytol is not recommended: For children under 16 years of age. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding a baby"
